We are looking for a passionate and talented Web Content Manager to join the Corporate Communications team at S P Jain School of Global Management and support its web presence. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that caters to the creative communication requirements of the school’s campuses in Mumbai, Dubai, Singapore, and Sydney and London. You must be an excellent writer with proven expertise in writing and managing content for the website, the ability to build powerful stories, and meticulous attention to detail.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Web Content Manager, you will be expected to:
• Work closely with various internal and external departments in developing the website as an effective communication tool
• Ensure the website content is well-structured, easy to find and meets the needs of its users
• Write, edit, proofread and create engaging, SEO-friendly content for various web assets
• Work with various stakeholders to keep the copy up-to-date and create new content as required
• Produce content for news updates, event articles and blog posts
• Audit the website to ensure the content published is accurate and up-to-date
• Act as a coordinator between stakeholders, web designers and developers
• Support the Digital Marketing team to provide target-oriented content for the landing pages
• Collaborate with the Design and Video teams to ensure the visual communication is compelling and appropriate for diverse markets
• Ensure the web communication adheres to the editorial guidelines and brand identity
• Research global web trends and benchmark the S P Jain website against local and international competitors
• Plan and conduct focus groups to gather website feedback
• Provide and execute ideas to enhance the user experience of the website
Qualifications and Requirements
• You must be an excellent writer and editor with 8-10 years of experience in producing and managing web content
• You must have a bachelor’s / master’s degree in Communication, Mass Media, Literature or a related field
• You must have strong copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills
• You must be highly organised with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
• You must be a people person and have the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with a variety of stakeholders
