Job Description
Content Writer is responsible for researching, writing, and editing content for various media outlets. The Content Writer will be expected to produce accurate, well-researched, and engaging content. The Content Writer will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that content meets the expectations of the target audience.
Responsibilities
1. Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
2. Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
3. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
4. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
5. Submit work to a senior content associate for input and approval
6. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
7. Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Excellent writing and editing skills
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and web traffic metrics
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to research and write on a wide variety of topics
Experience with content management systems (CMS)
Understanding of social media platforms
