We are seeking a Website & UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The Website & UX Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that enhance the user experience and meet the needs of our clients, even under tight timelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing websites and user interfaces, a passion for delivering high-quality work, and the ability to thrive in a startup environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design visually appealing, user-friendly websites that align with clients' business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements, scope, and timelines.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups that demonstrate design concepts and functionality.
• Create and maintain design systems, including style guides, iconography, and typography.
• Ensure the website's design is responsive across various devices, screen sizes, and platforms.
• Optimise website design for search engine visibility and user engagement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, web development techniques, and technologies.
• Work closely with developers to ensure that the website's design is accurately translated into functional code.
• Deliver high-quality work under tight timelines, in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Proven experience in designing visually appealing websites and user interfaces of at least 3-5 years.
• Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development tools.
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and web design best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Experience working under tight timelines in a startup environment is preferred.
