Web Designer Developer

We’re looking for a skilled web developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. The ideal candidate is a talented artist with extensive technical expertise who can work alongside a team and independently as well writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web services and program applications is essential to succeed in this role. S/he should also know integrating data from various back-end services and databases.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of this Role

· Consistently create well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development, including mobile and responsive site design

· Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

· The position requires constant communication and collaboration with colleagues.

· Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, JQuery, API’s and other relevant web design coding languages

· Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application

· Create and test application for websites and user interfaces, using standard HTML/CSS practices, while incorporating data from back-end databases and services

· Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

· Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs

· Present design specs and work with graphics and other designers

· Troubleshoot website problems and should be able to maintain and update website

· Develop or validate testing schedules, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various computers can access content

· A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

· Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

· Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques

· Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology

Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering would be an asset but are not required

· 3-5 years of experience in web development

· Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language like PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS

· Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors

· Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop), and optimizing output to match the specific platform

· Data migration, transformation, and scripting

· Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

· Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests

· Ability to take constructive criticism

· Ability to solve complex problems

· Keen understanding of user experience

· Should be familiar and up-to-date with industry best practices

Salary: ₹+,415.27 - ₹26,6+6.76 per month
