Web Designer Developer

A web designer creates the look, layout, and features of a website. The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once a website is created, a designer helps with maintenance and additions to the website. They work with development teams or managers for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks.

Web designers help create and maintain the product. Their duties include, but aren't limited to, the following:

· Designing webpage layout

· Determining technical requirements

· Updating websites

· Creating back up files

· Solving Design problems

Ø Mandatory: Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML5, CSS/3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery.

Ø Excellent knowledge of responsive programming with a mobile-first approach.

Ø Ability to create great, intuitive UIs and UXs for the audience

Ø Good understanding of Content Management systems and search engines optimization principles.

Ø Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.

Ø Excellent visual design skill

Ø Strong understanding navigational structuring.

Ø Up-to-date with the latest design trends available in the industry.

Ø Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.

Ø Working with different content management systems like Joomla, WordPress and Shopify is a plus.

Ø Ability to take larger responsibilities and ownership

Ø Leadership qualities with ability to train and mentor junior team-members

Ø Should be Proactive and Self-starter

Ø Willingness to work on challenging projects under strict deadlines

Ø Should be Self-motivated and have ability for Self-learning
