Job summary
As our web designer, you will use your highly imaginative design sense to create websites and marketing materials. The primary responsibilities will be creating visual solution to communicate ideas and media and supporting team project. The ideal candidate will be interactive for inspiring to team and reinterpreting the assigned work with wide and diverse view.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on business needs
· Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best website development practices
· Create website layout/user interface by using website builder (Wordpress/Wix/Squarespace)
· Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the company's websites
· Create design works using Ps/Ai/Id for websites and marketing materials
· Assist in basic office administrative work
Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Graphic Design or related field
· 1+ years’ professional web design experience
· Code and publish websites in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment
· Experience and knowledge of Adobe programs (Ai/Ps/Id)
· Document project build and maintenance
· Experience building User Interfaces and Prototypes From Wireframes and Designs
· Adopt and implement industry accepted best practices and tools
· Working effectively and independently on a wide variety of projects from large-to-small in a dynamic environment
· Proactive in finding solutions Attitude
· Ability to look at a problem from both a business and technical angle
· Work in a team with other developers and Project Managers to develop the best solutions for internal projects
· Have a desire for continuous learning and self-improvement
· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
· Bilingual English/Korean is preferred
Good to have
· Experience in Integrating data from various back-end services and databases will be an asset
· Experience with Social Media and 3rd party APIs
· Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS/JS practices
· Knowledgeable of web application development frameworks
