Overview:
The Web Designer/Developer is instrumental in assisting the Solace marketing and brand teams with digital and print marketing and advertisement materials. In addition, the Web Designer/Developer will have an active role in updating and maintaining Solace's style guides and will be expected to ensure that Solace's new strategic focus is accurately developed and represented.
Key Skills:
Help craft and update assets such as collateral, newsletters, infographics, illustrations, datasheets, booth designs, logos, layouts, and presentations.
Design marketing materials for the company and industry events.
Work closely with the marketing team to create assets for print, web, video, and social media.
Design and produce digital communications materials to assist digital sales and lead generation.
Assist marketing team with ad sets, promotions, and product launches.
Support web team with design and maintenance support.
Design presentations for the sales, marketing, public relations, and business development departments.
Work with marketing leadership to help evolve the Solace brand and product identities.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
Communicate with marketing leadership to better understand the brief and create design assets to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
Produce drafts for marketing leadership review and make revisions based on feedback received.
Required Experience:
Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and communicate in a changing environment. Ability to manage multiple projects at once while keeping the lines of communication open.
Experience working within the technology industry.
Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and XD.
Ability to meet project deadlines and communicate proactively about any roadblocks.
Ensure that all contents are accurate, timely, relevant, compelling, and appropriate for the intended audience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Expertise in experiential and digital marketing.
Exceptional ability in typography and layout.
Strong creative vision with attention to business objectives.
Solid knowledge of photography, video production, and motion graphics.
Knowledge in HTML/CSS and WordPress is an asset.
Advertising agency experience is a plus.
Nice to haves:
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Initiative and exercise good judgment.
