Hey, we’re Start Digital - a web & digital marketing agency located in the heart of Perth City. We're a tight-knit team of digital imaginators passionate about creating bigger, brighter, all singing, all dancing websites and digital marketing strategies that do more, go further and make our client’s business better.
We’re working with a string of epic businesses’ around Australia including Revo Fitness, Matso’s, Good Drinks, Averna Homes, Prendiville Group, Perth Festival, Nexus Airlines and The Maali.

We’re seeking a Developer with..
At least 3 years experience with WordPress, including building custom themes and plugins.
Strong foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
Strong understanding of CSS frameworks such as TailwindCSS to bring complex designs to life.
Experience with cPanel and MySQL
Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
In-depth knowledge of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Basic knowledge and understanding of SEO principles
An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Experience with WooCommerce
Working knowledge of Git
Excellent attention to detail
Brownie points will be given to those who have..
Analytical and independent problem-solving skills
Familiarity with software like Adobe XD and Figma
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React and Vue
A typical day will look like..
Converting static designs into fully-functional WordPress websites
Finding creative solutions to difficult problems
Handling incoming support tickets and website maintenance
Collaborating with our design team to ensure our websites are as functional as they are attractive
