Your Role
The data platform group has a key position available for a web developer. In this position, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to wear many hats and to learn a wide variety of technologies. We are looking for candidates who are ready to roll up their sleeves and solve problems, including the ability to figure out what caused the problem and to make sure that it doesn't recur.
This is an excellent opportunity to explore and master cutting-edge technologies in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
What You Will Do
• Work closely with stakeholders to determine application requirements, perform analysis to create statement of work and provide time estimates
• Define, develop, and maintain applications written in various web development technologies
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and fixing application issues
• Prepare required documentation for application support
• Maintain an awareness and understanding of technological advances provide continuous research and assessment of new resources and technology available
Your Qualifications
Required
• 3-5 years experience in a related position
• Proficiency in web development technologies like React JS, jQuery, Java Script, Node JS, Redux, HTML 5 and CSS 3
• High level of proficiency in a version control system preferably GIT
• Initiative to propose and create appropriate solutions for changing situations
• Willingness to learn new technologies and new ways of approaching projects
• Strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills and the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision
• Strong non-technical skills including, but not limited to, problem-solving, work prioritization, communication, self-direction, and time management
Should have skills
• Some experience with SAML, passport.js, grunt, web pack , Redis server would be preferred
Nice to have skills
• Familiarity with databases and NoSQL technologies
