As the Web Developer, you'll have the chance to work on platforms such as Shopify and WordPress and broaden your expertise with technologies ranging from ReactJS to back-end database and server development. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday ideally working 3 days in the office based in Bury St Edmunds but open to negotiation for the right candidate. Main duties and responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Create websites within Shopify and WordPress Utilise frameworks like React or Angular to enhance user interfaces. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, coding practises, and opportunities for personal development Learn various technologies and languages used in different projects. About you: The idealWeb Developer should possess strong experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and be familiar with CMS platforms like Shopify and WordPress. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. You must have a strong desire to learn and grow, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with our friendly in-house team and clients are necessary. Being self-motivated and capable of managing your own time and workload effectively is a must.
