We are looking for a Web Developer that is responsible for building and supporting backend web applications in PHP/Python.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned developer, well versed in server-side logic, code optimization, and integrating your code into the front-end design elements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Write reusable modular efficient code
Design and develop low-latency, high-availability applications
Integrate backend applications with front-end (user-facing) HTML/CSS
Well-versed in web development and testing (best practices); unit testing; source control; continuous integration; automated testing; design patterns, etc.
Collaborate with other developers, testers, engineers located onsite & offsite
Integrate third-party platforms into our technology stack via API development adhering to best practices.
Contribute to technical solutions and requirements definition; solve complex problems by contributing to analysis and development of technical solutions.
Meet regularly with stakeholders to provide status updates, reports on the development and discuss project/product objectives and timeframes.
Program in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, Python, and other web development languages.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of web application development with a strong focus on the PHP/Python technology
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Sciences
Familiar with troubleshooting and resolving cross-platform/browser issues, performance optimization, and other aspects of managing web server platforms.
