Job Description
The role is that of a ‘Web Developer ‘for Lalco Group. This person will Head up the internal Technology Division of Lalco Group and report directly to the company’s Directors.
The Responsibilities of the Candidate Will Entail
Candidate must be able to build/code, manage and assist in the design of all web pages, web applications and all other web related activities
Candidate must have extensive knowledge of PHP including WordPress
Candidate must have extensive knowledge of HTML5 and CSS 3
Candidate must have extensive knowledge of Photoshop and Corel Draw
Candidate must be able to manage, update and upgrade an e-commerce website
Measure and report performance of all web sites and web applications, and assess performance against goals
Identify trends and insights based on past performance, and optimize web sites and web applications for better performance
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Update our social media presence on various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest
Qualifications and Requirements of the Candidate
Personable, Motivated, Team Player with the ambition to progress within their career in an established corporation
College Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
