As a Web Developer you will closely work with our marketing department to manage www.decisions.com and develop microsites to help Decisions’ achieve its strategic goal of 1001 happy customers. Essential Functions/Priorities:
• Collaborate with the Marketing department to design and develop web UI components using Wordpress for content management and other requirements.
• Convert web design comps into functioning/templated Wordpress site pages that will allow the marketing team to have ongoing control for updates and maintenance.
• Work with the marketing team to develop extended website functionality using current best practices.
• Knowledge of Pardot, Salesforces, Gravity Forms, and Google Suites integrations
• Not an order taker; asks “why” questions and solve the right problems.
• Passionate about technology and enjoys continuously learning.
• Successful on cross-functional teams; has built products using agile methodologies.
• An excellent communicator and is comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences. Must be comfortable working independently with people across cultures and countries.
What You Will Bring To The Team
• Enthusiastic about web technologies, search engine optimization (SEO), technologies and processes that enhance inbound lead generation.
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML is desirable or willingness to learn.
• Ability to produce wireframes and proof of concept with a quick turnaround time and include changes & enhancements as and when needed
• Must be a self-starter and a team player
• Passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn
• Capable of generating and sharing breakthrough ideas
• Proactive, forward looking, and able to maintain a long-term, big-picture view
• Able to plan for changes, obstacles, and external forces
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field/degree
• Extensive experience in web development using HTML, CSS & Wordpress with at least 5 years of experience in PHP. Demonstrable knowledge of other front end web development technologies.
• Experience in working in an agile environment would be preferred but not required.
