Objectives of this role
The objective of a web developer is to create, maintain, and improve websites and web applications using a combination of programming languages, tools, and frameworks, to ensure optimal functionality, user experience, and performance.
What You’ll Do
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality reusable components
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Create quality mock-ups and prototypes
• Responsible for evaluating, defining requirements and problem statements
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, good analytical skills to prepare reports, graphs and dashboard
• Write a clean, well-designed code (Build efficient, testable, and reusable code)
• Strong experience in Web development, including theming and customizations
• Take minor architectural decisions and work closely with the Front-end Architect for improving performance, testing tools, build processes, etc.
What You’ll Need
• At least 2+ year of frontend development experience
• Should have hands-on development experience in ReactJS/Angular
• Exceptionally able with key development tools - JS/HTML5/CSS, React JS, experience working with REST APIs
• Proficient understanding of CSS frameworks & architecture (Material-UI, tailwind etc)
• Proficient understanding of SASS/Pre-processors, Webpack, npm and Git
• Should be familiar with Test Driven Development and are familiar with relevant testing frameworks
• Well versed with core JavaScript & ReactJS concepts
• Should have experience in working with Context API, Hooks & Redux
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Added advantage if you’ve
• Experience on charting libraries like Highcharts, ChartJs, FusionCharts etc.
• Experience on building custom charts using d3js.
