The energy sector is shifting from a system based on fossil fuels to one exploiting renewable energy and we require digital solutions to drive the green transition and the interaction between the different sectors and technologies. In Ramboll's business unit Energy, we have established a centralized Operational Excellence unit driving the digital transformation and the related research & development projects together with the markets. In the Operational Excellence, we have a Software Development department with dedicated specialists supporting the projects.

The role's purpose
In Ramboll we have developed multiple software applications that support digital asset management. RamSite is the name of the software solution developed in 1++7 for the telecom industry to support the roll-out of mobile networks. Mobile networks consist of many sites with various combinations of structural designs and radio communications systems. RamSite is the web application that is used by clients during the complete lifecycle of the assets. It features optimised workflows for automated processes in project management, secure storage for documents, enhanced visualisations of assets as well as enriched reporting.
During the past years RamSite has gone through several upgrades in cooperation with our clients to address market trends. The software is a multi-user web-based application built on Microsoft technologies using .NET framework (Blazor) and programming languages such as C#, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. Within the context of Ramboll's Centre of Excellence for Digital Enabled Asset Management, RamSite needs to be further developed to accommodate different types of assets, e.g., wind farms, buildings and bridges. This includes upgrades to the client facing front-end as well as the business logic and database layer.
Your responsibilities as software developer in Ramboll Energy
You will be a software developer interested in building and maintaining web applications supporting Ramboll's Energy services primarily circulated around digital asset management products. You will use your experience with software development within a virtual and international team to ensure a professional and robust software code that can be further developed in the future.
Key words :
· Develop and maintain the RamSite asset management web application (C#, .NET, Blazor).
· Carry out development and release tests of web applications.
· Creation of documentation and third-level support.
Required competencies
· 2+ years of experience in implementation of web applications
· 2+ years of experience with C# and .NET
· B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred competencies
· Professional experience developing the latest web technologies (e.g., Blazor, MAUI)
· Experience in relational databases (e.g., MS-SQL)
· Experience in object-relational mapping solutions (e.g., NHibernate, Entity)
· Experience in cloud computing
· Experience in Python
· Knowledge of agile development methodologies
· Knowledge of unit testing theory
· Knowledge on version control and issue tracking: GitHub, GitLab, Git, Jenkins, Scrum
· Strong written/verbal communication in English
· Strong collaboration skills
