Job Title: WebAR Developer (Augmented Reality) at Xperia3D
Location: IIT Delhi, India
Job Type: Internship
Stipend: Rs 20,000/month (with eSOPs also)
Xperia3D, an augmented reality startup, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced WebAR Developer to join our team. As a WebAR Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Xperia3D's technology strategy, managing a team of developers, and ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met You will also stay up-to-date with the latest AR technologies and industry trends and identify new opportunities for innovation.
Responsibilities:
Develop interactive and immersive AR experiences for the web using AR.js and three.js.
Collaborate with the design team to develop AR features and animations.
Work with cross-functional teams including UX designers, front-end developers, and back-end developers to create AR-enabled web experiences.
Ensure that AR experiences are optimized for performance and work seamlessly across various devices and browsers.
Create and maintain documentation and technical specifications for AR projects.
Stay up-to-date with emerging AR and web development technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
Extensive experience developing web-based AR applications using AR.js, three.js, and JavaScript/Unity integrations.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with popular front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and texture mapping.
Familiarity with computer vision technologies and concepts such as image recognition and tracking.
Experience with AR toolkits and libraries such as ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia, or Wikitude.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
