Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using WebMethods Integration Server
Configure and work with components like Broker, Universal Messaging, and Trading Networks
Develop Flow Services, Java Services, and Adapter Services
Implement web services (SOAP/REST), and handle XML, JSON, JMS, MQ protocols
Configure WebMethods adapters such as JDBC, SAP, JMS for integration
Perform data transformation using XSLT, EDI, and related technologies
Debug and optimize integration solutions for performance and reliability
Monitor integration processes via MyWebMethods Server (MWS) and related tools
Collaborate with business, technical, and end-user teams to define integration requirements
Create detailed documentation of solutions, configurations, and processes
Continuously improve integration standards, best practices, and efficiency
Required Skills:
6–8 years of hands-on experience with WebMethods platform (Software AG)
Solid understanding of middleware/integration concepts
Proficiency in SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, JMS, MQ
Experience with WebMethods Adapters like JDBC, SAP, JMS
Knowledge in data transformation tools (XSLT, EDI)
Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities
Effective communication and documentation skills
Team player with experience working in collaborative environments
Familiarity with SDLC processes
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with cloud integration platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Understanding of API management tools and practices
Proficiency in SQL and database design
Exposure to other Software AG products (ARIS, Terracotta, MashZone)
WebMethods certifications are a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
7+ years of experience in WebMethods development
Relevant certifications will be an added advantage
