Role Description:
:The Website Design, Development Specialist will be responsible for the full spectrum of our website's design, development, and content(Optional). This includes crafting visually appealing designs, developing robust and efficient web functionalities, and managing all aspects of website content. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative design skills, technical development expertise, and strong content management abilities.\
Job Responsibilities:
1. Website Design:
- Visual Design: Design visually engaging and user-friendly website layouts that align with our brand identity and business goals.
- User Experience: Create intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces (UI/UX) that provide a seamless experience across all devices.
- Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch to visualize design concepts.
2. Website Development:
- Front-End Development: Build and implement front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring design concepts to life.
- Back-End Development: Develop and maintain back-end systems using languages such as PHP, Python, or Node.js, and manage databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Content Management Systems (CMS): Customize and manage CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal to facilitate easy content updates and maintenance.
3. Website Management:
- Maintenance and Updates: Regularly update and maintain the website to ensure optimal functionality, security, and adherence to web standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Use tools such as Google Analytics and PageSpeed Insights to monitor website performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
- Security: Implement security measures to protect the website against cyber threats and ensure data privacy compliance.
4. SEO and Performance Optimization:
- SEO Best Practices: Apply SEO techniques to improve the website's visibility and ranking on search engines, including keyword optimization, meta tags, and structured data.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and overall performance to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
- Analytics and Reporting: Analyze website metrics and user behavior data to inform content strategies and development improvements.
5. Collaboration and Project Management:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align website content and functionalities with overall business objectives.
- Project Management: Manage website-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion while meeting quality and performance standards.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in website design, development, and content management.
• Design Skills: Proficiency in web design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch) with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Development Skills: Strong coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and back-end languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js), with experience in managing CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
• Content Creation: Proven experience in writing and managing web content, with a strong grasp of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with web hosting, domain management, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze web metrics and user behavior data, using tools like Google Analytics, to make data-driven decisions.
• Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
