About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Website Designer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing modern, responsive, and user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in front-end technologies and should also have a strong background in graphic design. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact directly with clients are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Shopify, and other front-end frameworks/tools.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and translate them into functional and visually appealing websites.
Create engaging visual content using design tools such as Photoshop, Canva, and similar software.
Ensure high-quality design standards, consistent branding, and an excellent user experience across all platforms.
Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
Conduct regular website maintenance and updates as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide project updates.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of experience in website design and development.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WordPress, Shopify.
Solid experience in using graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
Good understanding of UI/UX principles and web accessibility.
Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design practices.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with client interactions and capable of managing client expectations effectively.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Bonus Skills:
Knowledge of additional CMS platforms or e-commerce tools.
Basic understanding of SEO techniques.
