Conceptualising creative ideas with clients.Testing and improving the design of the website.Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring they align with clients' branding.Working with different content management systems.Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.Designing sample pages, including colours and fonts.Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.Handling the communication with the clients
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Web DesignerShould be knowledge of WordPressDemonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolioSolid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site mapsProficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing toolsProficiency in HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript for rapid prototypingShould be able to work on FTP / CpanelExcellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interactionProject Management skills are an added advantageAbility to solve problems creatively and effectivelyUp-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologiesGood understanding of content management systems.Good understanding of search engine optimisation principles.Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.Creative and open to new ideas.Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.Excellent communication skills.Ability to build rapportTime management and planning skills
