Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a skilled developer with a proven track record of developing and maintaining WordPress websites, as well as a deep understanding of how to optimize them for search engines. The ideal candidate will also have experience integrating React.js components to build a dynamic user experience.
Note: RamSoft is headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Our RamSoft India office is located in Bangalore/Bengaluru, and this role is open exclusively to on-site and hybrid candidates. Schedule adjustments will sometimes be required in order to attend virtual meetings with colleagues in other time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain WordPress websites and plugins
Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search engine rankings
Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure website functionality and aesthetics align with business goals
Develop highly responsive user interface components using React.js
Monitor and improve website performance
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise on the website
Document application changes and develop appropriate updates
Stay up to date with the latest SEO, WordPress and React.js trends
What will you bring to RamSoft?
As our Web Developer, you have:
3+ years of hands-on development experience with Wordpress
Familiarity with modern REACT components and REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques
Understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
Expertise with responsive design
SEO logic and appropriate knowledge of algorithms
Ability to read Google Analytics data for campaign design (specifically for Websites) and other SEO tools
Professional understanding of hosting (possibly on Azure)
Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, in English
Good project management skills
