Responsibilities:
1. Website Development:
- Lead the development of new websites and web applications from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and implement well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code using the latest web technologies.
- Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
2. Front-end Development:
- Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks to craft visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
- Ensure a seamless and delightful user experience through interactive elements and animations.
3. Back-end Development:
- Design and develop server-side applications and APIs using modern programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, etc.).
- Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance website functionalities.
4. Security and Performance:
- Implement security measures to safeguard websites from potential vulnerabilities.
- Optimize website performance to achieve fast loading times and optimal user experiences.
5. Continuous Learning and Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to web development.
- Suggest innovative solutions and approaches to improve website development processes and strategies.
6. Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (X years) as a Website Developer, Web Developer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of back-end technologies, including server-side scripting languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP) and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with web development tools, build systems, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and SEO principles.
- Solid understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory but beneficial):
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Knowledge of server administration and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with mobile app development (iOS, Android).
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
