Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month (Based on experience) Experience: Minimum 3–5 years Industry: Diamond & Jewelry Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Website Developer with strong experience in Shopify and WordPress to design, develop, and maintain our e-commerce and brand websites. The ideal candidate must be proficient in coding, website optimization, and front-end/back-end development. A strong understanding of UI/UX design, SEO principles, and e-commerce functionality is essential. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and manage custom websites using Shopify and WordPress (WooCommerce). Customize themes, create landing pages, and integrate third-party apps and plugins. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Implement e-commerce functionalities like product filters, variant selectors, checkout customizations, and payment gateways. Manage website security, bug fixing, backups, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to integrate content, banners, and campaigns. Regularly update content, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure high uptime. Implement schema markups, meta tags, and Google tools (GA4, Search Console, etc.). Work on ongoing improvements and innovations for better conversion rates and customer experience. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid and custom Shopify theme development. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP. Hands-on experience with WordPress development, especially WooCommerce. Ability to build responsive and pixel-perfect designs. Knowledge of Shopify Apps, APIs, and integrations (ERP, CRM, shipping, payment gateways). Understanding of technical SEO, page speed optimization, and best UX practices. Familiarity with tools like Git, Figma, Canva, Photoshop (for minor edits). Experience working on high-traffic e-commerce websites is a plus. Preferred Qualities: Detail-oriented, problem solver, and self-starter. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and project management skills. Prior experience in jewelry, luxury, or fashion websites is a big advantage.
