What is in the store for you?
We seek to hire a talented Marketing Associate, who will be responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build Smartserv’s brand, leading to increased awareness, interactivity & responsiveness among our target audience.
• Hands-on experience working on CMS platforms like Wordpress, webflow, jhoomla etc.
• Understanding of analytics tools like near analytics and overview idea of ad buying platforms like near and facebook ads
• Design and develop WordPress websites using page builders such as Elementor
• Develop custom Pages and Templates for WordPress as required.
• Understand HTML and CSS, and ensure that the websites are designed with good UI/UX practices
• Choose and utilize the appropriate plugins for the websites, ensuring that they are secure, reliable, and compatible with the latest WordPress updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with WordPress websites, including errors, broken links, or compatibility issues with hosting and DNS
• Collaborate with the team to develop new ideas and strategies for improving website design, functionality, and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in WordPress and web design, implementing best practices to ensure website optimization and compatibility.
• At Least 1-2 years of UI/UX experience in design and development of landing pages
Background
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Marketing functions
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree- In BCA/B.Tech Computer, UI/UX Certification(if there plus point)/MBA in marketing (Mandatory- should know the wordpress, HTML,CSS & Java Script)
• Experience in an IT company will be strongly preferred. Experience working with an early-stage SaaS start-up is a huge advantage
• Must have excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities in a high-frequency environment
• Ability to assimilate technical knowledge.
• The ability to think creatively and deliver clever concepts
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
• A problem-solver who sees every brief as a creative opportunity
You will have an edge if you are:
• Help develop positioning and content strategies for existing and new Smartserv products and services
• Savvy and blogging about PR Activities
• Breathe new life in to our websites, ad creative & email campaigns
• Concept ideas that build awareness and make our brand famous
• Data-driven & super-analytical in prioritizing various traffic generation & branding activities
• Curious about industry case-studies, white-papers & blogs around Innovation in Digital Advertising
• Ability to criticize constructively about Web Design & User experience
• Out of the box thinker and love to test boundaries of creativity
• Worked with early-stage start-ups or SaaS companies in the past
• You are eloquent and can communicate with multiple stakeholders (external or internal).
• You have a Curiosity mindset
• You have strong communication and articulation skills. Fluency in English is a bonus.
Timings: Operate in the US time zone which is - 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST.
