Job Description
A new digital publication 'Crazy Hollywood' based in Los Angeles, and is looking for a remote Website/ Graphic Designer with SEO, UI/UX experience. The successful candidate will help launch the publication from scratch, focused on Hollywood news, pop culture & lifestyle content while working directly with the founder to design and launch a digital newsletter and website.
Must be perfectly fluent in English
with some interest in Hollywood. 'Crazy Hollywood' will officially launch in Spring of 2026, and the goal until then is to grow our newsletter subscriber base, build a website and publish content regularly to increase SEO and organic page views.
Ideally looking for someone full time, but also open to freelancers based on experience. New graduates with a strong portfolio and passion for Hollywood are welcome to apply. For freelancers - this will be a
minimum 25 hours of work per week. 40 hours per week for full time candidates.
Responsibilities: - Design & manage an email newsletter using Beehiiv, or similar platform. - Create a news-themed website from scratch using Wix/ Squarespace/ Wordpress or similar. - Create graphics for web using Canva/ Photoshop/ InDesign or similar. - Blog post creation, article management and SEO optimization.
Knowledge of basic video editing in mobile softwares like CapCut/ Edits would be an asset, but not mandatory.
We will be working with major brands and celebrities in Hollywood. A great opportunity to work remotely for an American company and be involved in launching a brand from scratch. Massive growth potential and career advancement opportunities once the brand launches next year.
Qualifications: - Experience in writing/ repurposing viral stories in English (Hollywood & pop-culture experience preferred). - Proficiency in graphic design and website management. - Perfectly fluent in English, with a good knowledge of Hollywood and International pop culture. - Fast learner with online platforms and softwares. - Previous work examples for a notable brand would be an asset.
About the founder: I’ve been a Hollywood entertainment media professional for the last 10 years finally launching my own publication. I have existing relationships with every major movie studio, TV network, music label and consumer brand in the US.
