The Opportunity
ISMG is expanding its global digital operations and seeking a Website Operations Specialist based in India to support and collaborate with our U.S.-based Website Operations Manager. This junior-level role is designed to provide hands-on website maintenance, development assistance, and marketing technology support across ISMG’s portfolio of digital properties.
As part of our global web operations team, you will help ensure our websites remain up-to-date, performant, secure, and aligned with business needs. What You'll Be Doing
• Assist in maintaining and updating WordPress websites, including edits to themes, templates, and plugins.
• Support the development of new landing pages, microsites, and digital components.
• Implement basic design and layout improvements based on brand guidelines and direction from the U.S. Web Operations Manager.
• Help monitor site performance, speed, mobile responsiveness, and usability, identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist with CRM, analytics, and marketing automation integrations under senior guidance.
• Help implement tracking scripts, forms, and data capture tools across websites.
• Support QA testing and troubleshooting of marketing workflows and website-related automations.
• Conduct routine technical checks for uptime, broken links, site errors, plugin updates, and security patches.
• Assist in ensuring web security best practices are followed, including access management and safe deployment processes.
• Provide first-level support for internal teams reporting web-related issues.
• Work closely with U.S.-based web operations, design, and marketing teams to deliver website updates and campaign assets.
• Provide backup and overflow support during U.S. off-hours when needed (not night-shift oriented, but flexible availability is beneficial).
What You Bring to the Table
• 1–3+ years of experience in website development or technical web operations.
• Practical experience with:
• WordPress (editing themes/templates, plugins, ACF)
• HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript
• PHP fundamentals
• Familiarity with website hosting platforms (e.g., WP Engine or similar).
• Experience using page builders such as Elementor.
• Understanding of website performance, SEO basics, and responsive design.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and test website functionality.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket or similar version control tools.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style with remote/global teams.
• High attention to detail and eagerness to learn from senior technical leaders.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
• Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)

• Experience with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, or similar
• Understanding of APIs, webhooks, or CRM integrations
