Job Description:
We are seeking a talented WebSphere Commerce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing eCommerce applications using HCL WebSphere Commerce. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining eCommerce applications using WebSphere Commerce version v8 or later.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce applications using HCL WebSphere Commerce.
• Demonstrate hands-on skills and expertise in two or more of the subsystems in WCS (Order, Catalog, Member, Marketing, Promotion).
• Develop B2C/B2B stores with extended sites model.
• Understand the WCS run-time framework, Struts, front-end components, WCS tag libraries, WCS EJB, and Web Services.
• Have a strong understanding and hands-on experience in WebSphere Commerce key concepts like BOD, REST SOAP, and API.
• Integrate HCL WebSphere Commerce with Web Content Management Systems.
• Integrate SOLR Search and product search concepts.
• Use SVN/GIT/Bitbucket for source code management.
• Use shell scripts for development.
• Work with DB2 and develop and execute SQL.
• Work with a multi-tiered and multi-server application architecture.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely and effective manner.
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams and maintain strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing eCommerce applications using HCL WebSphere Commerce.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and concepts.
• Strong experience with WebSphere Commerce version v8 or later.
• Experience developing and deploying in a multi-tiered and multi-server application architecture.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in WebSphere Commerce key concepts like BOD, REST, SOAP, and API.
• Experience integrating HCL WebSphere Commerce with Web Content Management Systems.
• Knowledge of SOLR Search integration and product search concepts.
• Familiarity using SVN/GIT/Bitbucket for source code management.
• Experience working with shell scripts.
• Experience in using DB2 and developing and executing SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
