Job Summary:

The Wedding and Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all aspects of weddings and various events to ensure a memorable and seamless experience for clients. This role involves client consultation, vendor coordination, timeline management, and on-site event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation:
Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, budget, and expectations.
Offer professional advice on themes, timelines, venues, and vendors.
Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed event timelines, checklists, and floor plans.
Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, florists, photographers, and musicians.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timeliness.
Budget Management:
Help clients create and manage their event budgets.
Monitor expenses and provide regular updates to ensure adherence to the financial plan.
Event Execution:
Oversee setup and breakdown of event spaces.
Ensure all elements of the event are executed smoothly and according to plan.
Serve as the point of contact for vendors, venue staff, and guests on the day of the event.
Post-Event Follow-Up:
Conduct post-event evaluations with clients.
Manage feedback, address any issues, and ensure overall satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in event planning or coordination (weddings preferred).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Proficiency with event planning software and tools.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and travel as required.
Preferred Education and Experience:

Degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
6+Months of experience in event or wedding planning.
