We are a premier wedding and event planning company specializing in creating breathtaking decor and seamless event execution. We are seeking an experienced and creative Production Manager to oversee the decor setup for weddings and ensure flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Wedding Decor Setup and Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end production and setup of wedding decor at venues, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
- Supervise on-site teams to ensure decor elements align with client requirements and design plans.
2. Vendor and Market Knowledge:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current market rates, trends, and vendor offerings in the wedding decor industry.
- Source and negotiate with vendors to procure materials and services within budget and timelines.
3. Designing and Aesthetic Sense:
- Collaborate with design teams to interpret concepts and transform them into practical, visually appealing setups.
- Offer creative input to enhance decor themes while maintaining feasibility.
4. Budget and Planning:
- Use Excel to manage budgets, track expenses, and prepare cost analyses for decor production.
- Develop detailed timelines and schedules for decor production and setup.
5. Team Coordination and Leadership:
- Lead and guide a team of decorators, craftsmen, and technicians to ensure cohesive execution.
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
6. Industry Trends and Innovation:
- Stay updated on the latest wedding trends, materials, and technology to keep decor designs fresh and innovative.
- Introduce new techniques and materials to enhance decor quality and aesthetics.
Qualifications and Skills
- 7 to 8 years of proven experience in wedding decor production and execution.
- Strong knowledge of wedding decor trends, market rates, and vendor networks.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for budgeting and presentations.
- Aesthetic and design sensibility with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
