• Position: Lead Wedding Planner
• Job Summary:
Lightbucket Productions is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Wedding Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a natural flair for organizing weddings, coupled with 0-1 years of experience in planning and executing smaller events. This role involves coordinating various aspects of wedding planning, collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members, and ensuring that each event reflects the unique vision and desires of our clients.
• Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their wedding vision, preferences, and requirements.
- Provide expert advice and creative ideas to help clients conceptualize and plan their dream weddings.
- Collaborate with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure the best services within budget constraints.
- Create detailed wedding budgets, timelines, and schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Source and recommend suitable venues, catering décor, entertainment, and other event-related services.
- Coordinate and manage all logistics, including guest lists, invitations, transportation, accommodations, and seating arrangements.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth and flawless operations on the day of the wedding.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or changes.
- Handle unforeseen challenges and troubleshoot issues as they arise, making quick and effective decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wedding trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 0-1 years of experience in wedding planning or event coordination, with a proven track record of successfully executed events.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless event execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box to provide unique and memorable wedding experiences.
- Proficient in using event management software and tools to create budgets, timelines, and schedules.
