Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic professional with hands-on experience in wedding planning and business development. The ideal candidate will be able to design and execute weddings end-to-end while also contributing to business growth through lead generation, client acquisition, and vendor partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
· Take end-to-end ownership of the wedding vertical, including strategy, operations, and business growth.
· Meet clients to understand their vision, design wedding concepts, décor, and schedules, and convert leads into confirmed projects.
· Build, maintain, and expand vendor partnerships across India for venues, décor, catering, photography, and other services.
· Coordinate logistics, hospitality, travel, and guest management for seamless event execution.
· Generate new business through networking, referrals, exhibitions, and online channels.
· Pitch services, prepare proposals, and achieve revenue and growth targets.
· Establish processes, SOPs, and frameworks for smooth vertical operations.
· Collaborate with creative, production, and marketing teams to leverage internal capabilities.
· Monitor market trends, competitors, and client preferences to identify growth opportunities.
· Supervise on-ground execution, ensuring flawless delivery and resolving last-minute challenges.
Requirements
· 3–4 years’ experience in wedding planning, event management (preferably with exposure to senior-level responsibilities).
· Proven ability to set up operations from scratch and manage a new business vertical.
· Strong vendor and client network in the wedding/event industry.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Creative, strategic, and highly organized with problem-solving abilities.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make key decisions.
· Flexibility to travel and work weekends/holidays as required.
