Job Title: Wedding Highlight & Reel Video Editor

Phloem Weddings is a creative wedding photography and cinematography studio based in Kottayam. We specialize in capturing timeless moments and crafting visually compelling stories that couples cherish for a lifetime. Our growing team is looking for a talented and experienced video editor to join us in bringing beautiful wedding memories to life.

Responsibilities:

Edit cinematic wedding highlight videos (5–10 minutes) with a strong narrative and emotional impact

Create engaging short-form content for social media (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

Collaborate with the creative team to maintain the signature Phloem Weddings style

Sync audio, color grade footage, and add appropriate background music and effects

Handle multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs on time

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing, specifically for weddings or similar event-based content (mandatory)

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus)

Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for pacing, music, and emotional impact

A solid portfolio/showreel showcasing past wedding highlight and reel video edits

Must be available to work on-site at our Kottayam office

Preferred Skills:

Experience with color correction and basic audio mixing

Understanding of current trends in wedding and social media video content

Creative, self-motivated, and a strong team player
