Simply Events is introducing an exciting new offering in the events venue market – in-house wedding/events planning and styling. To do this we’ve created a new role and would love to hear from you if you’ve got experience in creating memorable events and weddings, with the ability to guide our customers through the planning process, and an eye for style to assist them with the decor.

The role encompasses styling and planning in equal measures. Our new team member will be responsible for:

Building relationships with couples

Leading the conversation about a couple’s plans and styling ideas, and adjusting your approach according to their needs

Working with the different packages available to help couples customise their style, based on their preferences.

Building relationships with recommended suppliers

Staying up to date with wedding trends and providing advice on these to couples

Being fully conversant with all our packages and how these can be customised

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

Hands on experience in event delivery (day of coordination)

The ability to adapt your style to the package the customer has bought

An organised, structured approach to work

The willingness and ability to maintain detailed records

To be able to follow the defined processes

A creative streak, with an eye for good aesthetics

Solid experience as a stylist and planner

Intermediate – advanced computer literacy
