Responsibilities
The primary function of the security guard is to monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at the facility
The security guards are the first to interact with drivers, visitors, customers, and others and need to demonstrate good interpersonal skills
On the weekends there is less traffic and more inspecting of the plant and the gates/grounds
This position is staffed 24/7, including holidays
Authorize/direct incoming and outgoing traffic
Maintain accurate records
Take incoming calls
Turn lights off/on during weekend
Secure and inspect all outside gates during weekend
Inspect the plant hourly during weekends
Alerts the plant of threatening weather
Delivers lab plate to cooler on weekends
Work 2 weekends a month - 12 hour shifts: (rotate every other weekend )
Fri 11pm - 11am
Sat 11 pm - 11 am

The primary function of the security guard is to monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at the facility. The security guards are the first to interact with drivers, visitors, customers, and others and need to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
