Able to work in pressure and able to go and work any where as per company work requirement
Works from verbal and written instruction from supervisor
Assembles components in fixture and welds assembly together by various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC etc) to provide leak-free seam, maintain critical dimensions, and structural and visual quality.
Analyzes requirements, plans layout and fabrication details.
Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
Aligns and assembles structures for welding using crane, cum-a-long, chains, etc.
Applies tack weld to hold assembled parts in alignment.
Uses wire brush to remove slag and weld spatter from fitting..
marks structure as required.
Informs management of needed maintenance operations or supply purchases.
Completes production/quality control paperwork
Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Other duties assigned Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintain activity logs
Familiarity with welding methods and techniques, equipment, set up and operation.
Adherence to health and safety regulations .
Being able to work alone or with a team
