Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Mainly assisting welding but occasionally assisting with pipefitting, and hydro testing crews in material preparation and job setup
Support the assembly of process piping, valves, and components
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shop and yard
Assist with the upkeep of rental and mobile yard equipment
Help with receiving materials, completing paperwork, and notifying supervisors of deliveries
Perform minor painting and other general labor tasks as required
Requirements:
Related oil and gas experience strongly preferred
Valid H2S Alive and First Aid certification
Must pass a pre-employment Drug & ******* test
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (GDL may be considered)
Physically fit and able to lift and work long hours when needed
Familiarity with hand and power tools (drills, impacts, wrenches, etc.)
Good communication and organizational skills
Strong work ethic with the ability to take direction and work both independently and in a team
Forklift or skid steer certification considered an asset
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
