Fabricates parts for a variety of vehicles, tools and equipment
Makes welding repairs to strengthen equipment parts on claw trucks, garbage trucks and other vehicles and equipment
Repairs commercial dumpsters; installs lids and lock assemblies; removes and replaces rusty or worn areas
Removes and replaces damaged or rusted parts on a variety of equipment and tools
Maintains, services and repairs lawn mowers and other small engine equipment; changes oil; replaces blades; replaces belts and gaskets
Designs, fabricates and installs specialty parts on mowers, trucks and other equipment
Researches and gathers information related to the maintenance and repair of a variety of tools and equipment

Overview

This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of small engine equipment, for making welding repairs, and for fabricating parts.
• Fabricates parts for a variety of vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Makes welding repairs to strengthen equipment parts on claw trucks, garbage trucks and other vehicles and equipment.
• Repairs commercial dumpsters; installs lids and lock assemblies; removes and replaces rusty or worn areas.
