Looking for variety and an opportunity to jump start your career in construction? Our Structural group has an immediate opening for a welding helper to support the fabrication of various steel to supporting an upcoming project. This role will provide you with an opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of welding, fabrication.
Here's a Taste Of What You'll Be Doing
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Assist welders in the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of metal structures.
• Work within a team of welders to ensure the appropriate tools are in place to support fabrication.
• Clean and maintain the work area and welding equipment.
You'll Be a Perfect Fit If You Have
• Welding certification from vocational program (a plus).
• Experience welding pipe or structures.
• Experience working in construction as a helper or tradesmen.
Compensation And Benefits Offering
• Pay: $18 - $22 an hour (based on experience)
• Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm’s performance, employee performance, and tenure).
