Your Role and Responsibilities
Full Stack software development, Responsibilities include work with Product Management to gather and analyze user requirements. Translate User Requirements into software design and then to Epics, User stories and size them appropriately. Execute development according to design, following agile methodology. Write and execute unit tests for code you write. Work with Scrum QA to help develop quality functional test cases. Attend daily scrum meetings and collaborate with scrum team. Work with the scrum team to conduct code review. Work with ID team to make sure new features are documented appropriately. Work with Support team to ensure customer escalations are root caused promptly and fixes provided in a timely manner. Evangelize new features at User Group meetings such that Customers get a first demo of the features.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Min 3-5 years of proven programming experience, e.g. JavaScript, Java or GO. 3-5 years proven experience with at least one modern web application framework (ReactJS or Dojo).
• Experience with design and optimization of traditional and modern data stores/services, e.g., RDBMS, NoSQL, and Cloud Object Stores. Strong academic foundation in Computer Science or related fields: Data structures, algorithms, networking.
• Strong communication skills and able to convey ideas and opinions to others.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with Java/J2EE. Experience with Native JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Experience with NodeJS/ExpressJS . Experience with UI tools like Carbon Charts, Jest and internJS .
• Experience with databases like Mysql, Oracle, MSSQL and DB2. Experience in enterprise-related development (multi-threading, scalability, performance).
• Experience with automated infrastructure configurations and orchestration, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins, Travis.
• Experience building applications on cloud infrastructure, e.g., private clouds, public clouds. Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Experience working in an agile team. Familiarity with continuous delivery and continuous integration
