Join the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) as a Wellbeing consultant and play a key role in strengthening our approach to psychosocial safety, psychological health and employee wellbeing.

In this role, you will help design, deliver and continuously improve wellbeing initiatives and psychosocial risk controls, partnering with leaders and teams across the business. About You

You will bring:

Strong contemporary psychosocial safety and WHS knowledge, with the ability to develop, implement and evaluate strategies in a large, complex organisation.
Experience in responding to and managing psychosocial incidents, underpinned by strong WHS assessment and investigation skills, hazard identification, development of effective control measures, and ongoing monitoring.
Proven experience designing and delivering workplace wellbeing and psychosocial safety programs, including training and capability uplift.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, consultative approach.
Strong research and analytical skills to identify trends, assess risk and inform program design.
Practical knowledge and experience applying the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations WA 2022 and relevant Codes of Practice.
The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of employment (fixed term or permanent) in this or similar roles for a period of twelve (12) months from date of first appointment.

A two (2) page statement addressing the following essential criteria as outlined in the JDF:
(1) Considerable knowledge of contemporary workplace psychosocial safety and WHS practices with the ability to develop, implement and evaluate a range of strategies that support the improvement of psychosocial safety and wellbeing outcomes in a large, complex and multidisciplinary organisation.
(2) Considerable experience in designing and implementing workplace programs to promote psychosocial safety, workplace wellbeing and safety, including the design and delivery of training and capability-building initiatives.
(4) Well-developed research, conceptual and analytical skills to identify trends, assess risk and inform the development of strategic programs designed to meet business needs.
The CV must contain the complete names and contact information of two (2) referees who can provide feedback on your (the applicant's) capacity to meet all the Essential Work-Related Requirements. At least one of the referees should be your (the applicant's) immediate (most recent) supervisor/manager.
