In this position, you will play a pivotal role in our Wheel Motor Exchange Program.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Overhaul and maintain electric mining haul truck wheel motors and associated equipment.
Disassemble, inspect, and repair large mechanical assemblies with precision.
Complete job reports and requisition parts to keep projects on track.
Replace or repair worn components such as shafts, gears, seals, and bearing fits.
Clean and prepare mechanical equipment using specialized methods and tools.
Adhere to QESH standards and promote a safe, clean work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Trade Certificate III Mechanical Fitter/Fitter & Turner/Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)
Experience in Mechanical fitting large equipment i.e., Wheel units, gearboxes etc
Strong focus on safety and excellent time management skills.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
Current Driver's License (Forklift license and Dogging ticket are a bonus).
