Our client is a leading law firm with a robust practice in white collar criminal defense, representing companies and individuals in complex prosecutions, grand jury investigations, and civil enforcement actions. Their clients span diverse industries, including financial services, health care and pharmaceuticals, accounting, government contracting, manufacturing, and oil and gas. Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in complex white collar criminal prosecutions, grand jury investigations, and civil enforcement actions.
• Conduct thorough internal investigations in response to grand jury subpoenas, administrative subpoenas, whistleblower complaints, or unfavorable media reports.
• Advise clients on developing effective detection and compliance programs to identify and mitigate business risks.
• Provide sound legal counseling and advice to corporate clients on self-disclosure and remediation of discovered wrongdoing.
• Defend clients against allegations of health care fraud, anti-kickback and bribery violations, securities and commodities fraud, tax crimes, accounting violations, FCPA violations, cybercrimes, environmental crimes, and criminal antitrust violations.
• Litigate white collar matters through trial and appeal, advising clients on the risks and benefits of proceeding to trial or accepting a plea.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Extensive experience in white collar criminal defense, including representation in prosecutions, investigations, and civil enforcement actions.
• Proven trial and appellate litigation experience.
• Strong background in conducting internal investigations and advising on compliance programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple high-stakes cases simultaneously.
