THE OPPORTUNITY


Ambipar Response. is currently seeking a Wildfire Technician based out of Edmonton, Alberta.


RESPONSIBILITIES AT HAND / WHAT YOUR DAYS WILL CONSIST OF:

Participate in Wildfire response and mitigation
Able to Respond on short notice
Participate in fire prevention and inspection programs
Operate and maintain wildfire equipment, including pumps, chainsaws, and handtools
Organize fire caches, positioning equipment for the most effective response

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Current wildfire S-100 S-185 / NFPA 1140 or 1051
Posses the physical capabilities necessary to meet rigorous demands encountered while fighting wildland fires. WFX-FIT Test will need to be completed
ICS 100
Current Basic First Aid and CPR certification
Valid class 5 driver's license with 6 or less points
WHMIS, H2S Alive an asset
Industrial experience will be considered an asset but not essential
Working knowledge with the following programs - SharePoint, Excel, Google, WhatsApp
Enthusiastic and team-oriented
