The Robert Fuller Gallery is offering an exciting full-time opportunity for a Wildlife Video Editor & Videographer to join our video team in North Yorkshire. This role involves a mix of video editing, wildlife filming, media management, and equipment handling, working closely with a dedicated team in a stunning rural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Wildlife Filmmaking & Video Editing
Capture high-quality wildlife footage using professional-grade cameras.
Edit video content to produce engaging wildlife documentaries and social media content.
Research and extract compelling storylines from raw footage.
Ensure a seamless workflow for video production from shoot to final edit.
✅ Media & Equipment Management
Organize and manage media files and video archives efficiently.
Maintain and handle camera kits, microphones, and filming accessories.
Operate and set up various camera equipment, including drones (preferred).
✅ Wildlife & Outdoor Work
Assist in building hides and habitat creation for better filming opportunities.
Work in remote locations to capture wildlife behaviour.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
✔️ Strong knowledge of wildlife and animal behaviour.
✔️ Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, and related software.
✔️ Competent camera operator with experience in filming wildlife.
✔️ Experience in managing and organizing video files.
✔️ Good IT skills for media management and production workflow.
✔️ Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Preferred Skills:
🔹 Experience in outdoor work such as building hides and setting up filming locations.
🔹 Drone operating skills for aerial footage (preferred but not required).
🔹 Strong storytelling abilities to enhance wildlife narratives.
Personal Attributes:

🎥 Detail-oriented, creative, and methodical in video production.
🤝 Strong communicator and team player.
🏕️ Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor environments.
