ABOUT THE ROLE
TransAlta is currently recruiting a Wind Technician for our Pincher Creek Asset in southern Alberta. This position ensures the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the Cowley North and Summerview 1 wind assets by applying operating and maintenance standards, procedures, and processes that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Wind Technician is responsible for developing and implementing operations and maintenance strategies. This role is accountable to provide leadership through developing, implementing, and managing the daily and ongoing business plan in alignment with the Supervisors business plan. This role is also accountable to ensure the portfolio adheres to TransAlta’s operating model.
This role is a permanent, full-time salaried, safety-sensitive position. The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing.
