Windchill Architect

Your opportunity has arrived! WebCreek is currently looking for a Software Developer with fourteen years of experience, nine of which should be in working with Windchill, along with strong English communication skills. This is an onsite position in Pune, India.
What You'll Do
• Develop an understanding of the architecture of our current implementation.
• Develop an understanding of the existing system's functional flow and integration.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of a project.
• Participate in solution architecture design.
• Develop and document detailed technical designs to meet business requirements.
• Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
• Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements.
• Provide input into final decisions regarding design, hardware, network products, system software, and security.
• Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client and the project's infrastructure and environment management.
• Proactively identify areas of automation and optimization and provide solutions that meet the business requirements.
• Guide and support the team with Windchill configuration and customization.
• Manage multiple technical environments and support the development and testing processes.
• Ability to lead the customer requirements.
• Experience with defining user stories/use cases.
• Deep understanding of Windchill functionalities, including Change Management, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Configuration Management, Configurable Links, CAD Data Management, xBOM and Manufacturing Process Management, Supplier Collaboration, and CSM (Contract, Supplier, and Manufacturing).
• Thorough knowledge of major Windchill modules such as PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, SUMA, MPMLink, QMS, NC/CAPA, and WGM.
• Experience in writing functional design documents and functional test cases.
What You Have
• 14+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
• ++ years of experience in Windchill/PDMLink/ProjectLink customization and configuration.
• Good experience in Windchill configuration, including ACLs, OIR, Workflows, Lifecycles, Types, and attributes.
• Programming knowledge of Java, JSP, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of the Windchill Data Model.
• Experience in workflow customizations, Object Initialization rules, Data utilities (UI), Wizards (UI), Services & Listeners, Action validators.
• Analysis of customer requirements, solution design, and development for new enhancement requests, build preparation for the developed requirements.
• Experience in MVC builders, Form Processors, Business Rules, DataUtilities, etc.
• Well-versed with Windchill APIs.
• Good to have Windchill Reporting experience on Cognos, Query Builder reports.
• Experience with Windchill REST Services and Integrations, including ERP Connector, Web Services (REST/SOAP).
• Experience in Windchill CAD data management, CREO (Good to have).
• Should have experience in at least 2 Windchill implementations.
• Capable of actively participating in client workshops, business requirements gathering meetings.
• Has prepared Technical specification documents.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong track record of thriving in challenging roles and excelling in highly pressurized environments.
• Understands Windchill architecture and deployment topologies.
• Windchill build and deployment knowledge.
• DevOps knowledge (source-code management, CI/CD, documentation, etc.).
• Defines and imposes PTC design best practices (choosing configuration over customization).
• Experience with architecting entire Windchill solutions.
• Experience in writing solution/technical design documents.
• Windchill PTC and Java certification are a plus.
