Job Description For Windows Administrator :
Primary Skills include:
# Experience in Windows Administration.
# Should have basic storage knowledge.
# Experience in Managing storage
# Experience in Configuration and administration of file system.
# Experience in Server Patching.
# Experience in Server OS Troubleshooting (Performance, Agent Installation/Upgrade, OS Crash, etc.)
# Knowledge or Experience in basic Scripting.
# Hands and feet support and 24/7 shift
Secondary Skills include:
# VM Server Build & Decommission
# Need to know and work on clone and snapshot request.
# Hardware customization. Ex: Memory and CPU increase
# Need to know and work on V motion request.
# Basic knowledge in cluster environment
# Need to know about HA and DRS concept
# Need to know about VLAN
Should have excellent communication skills
Should be a team Player
Should have experience working in the SLA ; should be aware of the breaches in SLA
Should have worked in 24 x 7 model
Should be able to cover up the night shifts and weekends for 24x 7 also
