Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION 1) Soldering and Splicing: Perform soldering, splicing, and termination of wires and cables as needed to create electrical connections and joints, ensuring proper insulation and mechanical strength. 2) Wire Harness Assembly: Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to assemble wire harnesses according to specifications and quality standards. 3) Wire Cutting and Stripping: Measure, cut, strip, and crimp wires to precise lengths and specifications using hand tools, wire cutters, and stripping machines. 4) Connector Installation: Install connectors, terminals, and other electrical components onto wires and cables, ensuring proper alignment, orientation, and termination according to design requirements. 5) Wire Routing and Bundling: Route wires and cables through conduits, sleeves, or channels, following established routing paths and securing them with clips, ties, or clamps to prevent interference and ensure neat and organized harness layouts. 6) Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and other electrical tests to verify the integrity and functionality of wire harness assemblies. Troubleshoot and diagnose wiring issues as needed. 7) Quality Assurance: Inspect completed wire harness assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies to ensure product conformance and customer satisfaction. 8) Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including assembly procedures, test results, and quality inspection reports. Document any deviations or non conformities and follow appropriate procedures for documentation and reporting. +) Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Experience: 3-8year
