Job description
Our organization is seeking a seasoned Firmware Development Expert to join its WLAN firmware group.
This key member of our team will be responsible for designing, developing, unit testing, bug fixing, and maintaining WLAN firmware components that implement functional aspects of WLAN features on low memory footprint processors.
The host driver and the firmware work together to implement the WLAN drivers on Qualcomm's WLAN SoC platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge WiFi technologies, solve challenging WiFi design & performance issues, and collaborate with leading WiFi ODMs & OEMs across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain WLAN firmware components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
• Collaborate with leading WiFi ODMs & OEMs to resolve complex technical issues
• Manage a team to cater to development and sustenance requirements for WLAN projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Outstanding ability in C/C++ language
• Knowledge in developing drivers, embedded systems, data structure, and firmware
• Experience working with low memory systems and code/data optimization
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in WLAN protocols (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
Preferred Qualifications:
• BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or Electronics with proven success in a challenging academic program
