Mud Pie is a fast-paced and dynamic fashion brand seeking a skilled Assistant Designer to join its Women's division. As an Assistant Designer, you will play a critical role in creating biannual collections that meet the company's aesthetic and sales goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Conducting market analysis to identify trends and competitors
• Designing and developing accessories, including apparel and gift items
• Collaborating with the Technical Design Team to create technical packs
• Executing designs with overseas vendors
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in fashion design and/or graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain relationships with overseas vendors
Estimated salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
